At Petunia BYOB, we are celebrating the season with thematic dining events, community festivities, and updated fall hours. Located at 3 Mechanic Street, just 15 minutes from Stone Harbor, Petunia is your go-to dining destination in Cape May County this autumn.

Stars Hollow Afternoon Tea | October 23 – 25, 2026

October 23, 24 & 25 | 10:30 AM – 2:00 PM | $50 per person + tax & gratuity

Step into the charming world of Gilmore Girls with our themed Stars Hollow Afternoon Tea! Running Friday through Sunday, the weekend of Middle Township’s Harvest Festival, from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM, this limited-time event offers fans and food lovers an immersive autumn tea experience.

Guests will start their tasting journey with their own pot of tea or coffee with optional upgrades for specialty chilled drinks like The Rory or Founder’s Day Punch. The savory tier brings iconic flavors to life, like Luke’s Diner Sliders, Pasta a la Sookie, and a surprise international bite inspired by Al’s Pancake World. Next, enjoy fresh Sookie’s Heavenly Scones. Finally, satisfy your sweet tooth like a true Gilmore with an array of sweet treats and candy.

Harvest Fest Parking Note: Saturday, October 24th, coincides with the Middle Township Harvest Festival. Mechanic Street and the municipal lot will be closed to vehicle traffic. Guests attending the tea on Saturday should allow extra time to park along Route 9 or adjacent side streets and walk to the restaurant.

Community Fall Festivals & Local Parades

We are thrilled to participate in Cape May Court House’s cherished fall community traditions:

  • Middle Township Harvest Fest | Saturday, October 24
    While our Stars Hollow Tea takes place inside, Petunia will be open to festival goers with select snacks and beverages. Please note: Our standard delicatessen lunch menu will not be served on this day.
  • Middle Township Halloween Parade (Wednesday, October 28): Stop by Petunia during the annual parade! We’ll be serving delicious snacks, hot beverages, and sweet candy for spectators and marching groups.
  • Trick-or-Treating on Halloween (Friday, October 31): Bring the family by on Halloween night! We will be handing out free candy to all trick-or-treaters visiting Mechanic Street.
Halloween Supper Club

Friday, October 31 & Saturday, November 1, 2026 | Single Communal Seating at 6:30PM |$50 per person + tax & gratuity
Reservations Required, Must Be 16+

Creep into the night and experience a deliciously haunting meal at Petunia’s Halloween Supper Club. Gather around our communal table for a witchy, five-course surprise tasting menu. Bring your favorite elixir or potion (wine or beer) – costumes encouraged but not required! Note: Due to the fixed, communal nature of the Supper Club, dietary restrictions and allergies cannot be accommodated, and the maximum party size is 6 guests.

  • Supper Club: Sunday, 6:30 PM
